Designed to empower women to make better decisions about their health, wellness, lifestyle, and beauty, the day-long event offers information on female-related health issues, available services and resources, and ways to influence health policy. The 2012 Conference & Expo promises to invigorate Southern California women to keep health and wellness a priority.
On Friday, November 2, dozens of Southern California's most renowned physicians, hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals will present more than 20 workshops and medical information, free health screenings and flu vaccinations, as well as samples, makeovers, and demos from beauty, health and fitness companies will be offered in the Expo. Conference attendees are also treated to a luncheon featuring a Keynote Speaker and a Fashion Show.
The Southern California Women's Health Conference & Expo is hosted and presented by LL Kennedy & Associates in partnership with several key Southern California community and service organizations. Lena Kennedy leads the organizing committee comprised of more than 80 women and men from the health industry, community leaders, businesses and individuals. The conference is supported entirely by donated resources and volunteers from community organizations, in-kind donations, gifts, and the generosity of its sponsors.
Major supporters have included Teena Hostovich and Wells Fargo as Title Sponsors, ABC7 as the Media Sponsor, Huntington Memorial Hospital, City of Hope, American Cancer Society, AT&T, and Southern California Edison as Gold Sponsors, and Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, Kaiser Permanente, U.S. Bank, and UPS as Silver Sponsors.
